HeTone Group and MAXWELL GROUP to Develop a 200 MW Liquid-Cooled AI Data Center in Thailand
HeTone Group has signed an Exclusive Land Development and Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Thailand-based MAXWELL GROUP, securing exclusive rights to a 96,000 square meter site in Phetchaburi and launching a 200 MW liquid-cooled AI data center development.
HeTone Group announced on 4 August 2026 that it has signed an Exclusive Land Development and Strategic Cooperation Agreement with MAXWELL GROUP, a leading Thai enterprise. The agreement was signed by HeTone Group Chairman Jimmy Chang and MAXWELL GROUP Managing Director Yang Shao-Hao, securing exclusive development rights to prime industrial land in the Khao Yoi area of Phetchaburi, Thailand, and formally launching the development of an international-scale AI data center campus.

The 96,000 square meter site sits in one of Thailand’s most promising industrial corridors, with well-developed transport links, strong geographic-safety and disaster-protection conditions, and ample room to expand high-density compute facilities in later phases.
On the critical question of power, MAXWELL GROUP, a renowned power-infrastructure enterprise in Thailand, is supporting an application for a dedicated 200 MW supply, capacity sized for next-generation high-density AI server operations. The partners combine MAXWELL GROUP’s power-infrastructure resources with HeTone Group’s customer network, high-density compute facility design, and GPU deployment experience, and plan to introduce advanced cooling technology and green-energy solutions to optimize PUE and deliver a green AI data center that meets international ESG standards.
HeTone Group is now running comprehensive assessments covering the site, power facilities, environmental review, and construction conditions, while holding strategic discussions with leading international AI data center operators, cloud service providers, and compute-technology companies.
Since establishing its Thai subsidiary in 2019, HeTone Group has built a complete capability chain in Thailand, from land development and power applications to facility assessment, server supply, and consulting services. With Thailand as its core strategic base for the Southeast Asian compute market, the group will continue to deepen long-term investment and help international customers shorten AI infrastructure deployment timelines across the region.
