The Challenge

The harshest thermal environment there is.

Automotive electronics operate from −40 °C to +150 °C, endure constant vibration up to 20 g, and must last 15 years or 300,000 km. Battery management modules, ADAS sensors (LiDAR, radar, cameras), and under-hood ECUs all generate heat that must be conducted away without material degradation. A gap filler that pumps out or a coolant that loses inhibitor protection can cause a field recall, making material qualification as critical as the component design itself.

HeTone supplies automotive-grade battery gap fillers, sensor TIMs, coolants, and structural adhesives from Henkel, Parker Chomerics, Jeffcool, and ExxonMobil, pre-qualified against AEC-Q200, LV 124, and OEM-specific reliability standards. We support PPAP documentation and lot traceability for Tier 1 supply chains.

BMS & sensor thermal

Gap fillers (2.0–5.0 W/m·K) and interface pads for battery modules, BMS boards, and ADAS sensors, sized for stack-up tolerance, vibration (ISO 16750), and thermal cycling from −40 °C to +85 °C (or +105 °C under-hood).

Coolants & under-hood

Jeffcool glycol coolants, ExxonMobil PAO base oils, and under-hood adhesives and sealants qualified for long-term exposure to engine fluids, fuels, and temperatures above 125 °C.

Automotive qualification

Material selection aligned to AEC-Q200, LV 124, and your OEM's specific temperature / vibration / life targets, with PPAP documentation and full lot traceability for Tier 1 programmes.
